The warm welcome by Kim and Georges, coupled with their invaluable local insights, made for an enriched experience, blending exploration with relaxation. The riad features a delightful indoor swimming pool, ideal for unwinding after a day of navigating Marrakech's vibrant streets. I particularly appreciated the traditional hammam, offering a serene escape that revitalized my spirit. My stay also included leisurely moments on the terrace, where the tranquil environment allowed for peaceful reflection under the Moroccan sun. Breakfast was a highlight, showcasing local flavors that further enhanced my cultural immersion. While my time here was brief, I left wishing I had booked more nights to fully enjoy the spa services and the delightful ambiance. Riad Smara provides a unique combination of comfort and traditional charm, making it a memorable part of my journey. I recommend it for those seeking both relaxation and proximity to local culture.
